The NATIV organization is the only government organization authorized to certify the right of repatriation of immigrants from the former Soviet Union in accordance with the Law of Return, and to issue visas to enter Israel as new immigrants.

Online Application

You can submit a request for confirmation/verification of the right to repatriation and obtaining a new repatriate visa to the Repatriation Department on the page Filling out the online application "Repatriate Visa Application".

Before you begin filling out the application, please review the list of documents required to submit a request for a repatriate visa on the page "Checking the Right to Repatriation for Citizens of Former USSR Countries".

After processing the data, a Repatriation Department employee will contact you and set a date for an appointment.

Apostille

Please note: The Israeli Ministry of Interior has approved a new procedure for processing repatriation documents, which comes into force on August 1, 2019.

According to the new rules, from August 1, 2019, anyone submitting documents issued after December 31, 1997 for consular verification to a Nativ consul abroad in Israel (or in Israel as part of a change of status) must affix an apostille to these documents and present the apostilled documents to the consul.

We are talking about documents certifying civil status:

Birth certificate, death certificate;Marriage certificate, divorce certificate;Adoption certificate, recognition of paternity;Certificate of change of full name;Certificate of no criminal record.

Required documents

International passports of all family members wishing to confirm their right to repatriation, valid for at least 6 months;Color passport photographs 3x4 cm in size of all family members;Original birth certificates of all family members;Certificates confirming the marital status of all family members;Marriage certificate of parents;Original birth certificates of parents;Certificates and documents of grandparents;Death certificates;Work books;Documents on military service;Documents confirming the education of family members;Certificate of no criminal record for all family members over the age of 14, confirmed by an apostille. The certificate of no criminal record is valid for 6 months before repatriation;Any other documents confirming the right to repatriation in accordance with the Law of Return.

Important: Additional documents may be requested if necessary.

All family members, including children of any age, must be present at the appointment.

Strict adherence to these rules will help avoid repeat visits to the consulate.

Applications for a repeat appointment, questions, requests and letters containing additional documents should be sent to the email address: spb_migr@nativ.gov.il; When making an appointment, be sure to specify that you have already been to the appointment; Duplicate requests will not be considered!

Security rules:

It is prohibited to bring weapons, handbags and other carry-on baggage, as well as food and drinks, into the consulate;It is strictly forbidden to enter the consulate with phones and other electronic devices;All necessary documents and contacts of close relatives must be on paper;If you have pacemakers, endoprostheses or other implants, you must present a corresponding certificate from a doctor.

Inquiries not related to an appointment with the consulate should be sent to the Citizens' Appeals Department of the Nativ organization in Jerusalem at the following address: pniot@nativ.gov.il. This address is not intended for submitting additional documents.

Attention to those arriving in Israel as tourists for the purpose of repatriation!

Preliminary verification of eligibility for repatriation is carried out by the Nativa Consular Department staff directly at Ben Gurion International Airport:

·        Sunday – Thursday: 08:00 to 21:30

·        Friday: 08:00 to 15:30
