Those eligible to receive the service are foreigners over age 18 with no first-degree relatives in Israel, on whose behalf an application for a work visa has been submitted and whose application has been approved by the Population and Immigration Authority.
All the required forms should be completed and submitted as per the instructions, in the country where the applicant lives. The applicant must come for a personal interview at the mission, subject to receiving an invitation.
Please note: The application to the Israeli mission will be made by the local employment agency that recruited the worker.
Application for an entry visa to Israel
Passport valid for 3 years
Two recent duplicate passport photos (color against a white background, with full front view of face, measuring 5x5 cm)
Criminal clearance certificate valid for 6 months, translated and certified
Birth certificate, translated and certified
Confirmation of medical tests carried out at laboratories or hospitals recognized by the mission
Declaration of agreement to be fingerprinted and photographed
Employment contract
Training certificate
Certification from the local labor ministry that the local employment agency that recruited the worker possesses a valid brokerage license
To visit the mission, it is necessary schedule an appointment in advance.
Before coming to the mission, make sure you have with you all the required documents and completed forms.
The fee will be paid by the inviting entity, at the time of submitting the application.
If the fee has not been paid in Israel, a fee will be collected according to the schedule of fees on the mission's website.
B/1 Work Visa for Caregiver
This visa is for a person whose stay in Israel is approved for a limited period of time for the purpose of work. This visa is given to experts and artists, among others, and is granted solely with the approval of Population and Immigration Authority in Israel.
The fee is paid by the applicant's employer when the application is submitted to one of the population administration offices of the Ministry of Interior. Upon receipt of Population and Immigration Authority, the mission will issue the B/1 Work visa after obtaining the following documents from the applicant:
- Approval letter from the Population and Immigration Authority in Israel
- Application form - Get the form
- 2 passport photos
- The actual passport of the applicant
- A prepaid and pre-addressed envelope with a tracking number addressed for sending and returning of the passport to the applicant.
- The Consul may require additional documents such as non-criminal record certificate with Apostille and fit for employment medical certificate signed by the physician.
- Visa for caregiver can be granted subject to a successful examination of professional test and submitting additional supporting documents from the employer in Israel.
Upon receiving approval from the Population and Immigration Authority at the embassy, the embassy will issue the type B/1 work visa only after receiving the documents
