If the signatory is below age 18, he must come to the mission in the company of his parents or guardian. It is advisable to clarify whether the signatory needs to be accompanied by his parents before coming to the mission.
The application may be submitted by Israeli or foreign citizens wishing to sign a document for presentation in Israel, as well as on behalf of corporations or companies incorporated in Israel or abroad.
You must present yourself at an Israeli mission in the country where you are staying, together with the original documents that need to be verified, as well as a passport or ID card or driver's license.
In a real estate transaction – the identification will be made solely by means of a valid passport or ID card.
Documents that are in a language not known to the representative or to the signatory:
If the language of the document is not known to the representative or to the signatory, a translation in a language that is understood by the signatory or by the representative must be attached together with a certified affidavit of the translator.
The translator's affidavit must state that the translator is proficient in both languages and that the translation is true to the original.
A translator's affidavit can be certified in one of the following ways:
- By the authorized diplomatic representative, as a separate notarial act
- By a local notary. The affidavit must be duly certified (apostille or authentication by the local foreign ministry).
- By an Israeli lawyer or notary.
Verification of signature on behalf of a corporation or company incorporated in Israel – the following documents should be attached:
- Certificate of incorporation or certificate of registration of the company, duly certified (apostille or authentication by the local foreign ministry).
- An up-to-date written confirmation by the company's lawyer or accountant that the signatory is authorized to bind the company and to sign on its behalf.
Verification of signature on behalf of a company incorporated abroad
the following documents should be attached: - Certificate of incorporation or certificate of registration of the company, duly certified (apostille or authentication by the local foreign ministry).
- An up-to-date written confirmation by the company's lawyer or accountant that the signatory is authorized to bind the company and to sign on its behalf.
If the person signing before the consul is a minor, he must present a guardian's approval or a court's approval prior to signing.
- The original document that is to be signed
- A translation, if necessary
- The translator's affidavit, if the document has been translated
- A guardian's approval or a court's approval, if the applicant is below age 18

The cost of the service is 2,300 Japanese yen for a single signature

Please note:
1. Please come to the Embassy only with the documents related to the service you will receive, and avoid arriving with luggage that is not related to the service.
• If you arrive with large luggage, you will not be able to enter the embassy.
2. Mobile phones, laptops, and other electronic devices will be deposited during the security check.
3. Liquids and food cannot be brought into the embassy.
• There is water in the waiting room.
