A meaningful Hanukkah evening shared with our guests in the candlelight’s glow
On Thursday, December 26th, we had the honor of welcoming Director-General, Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr. Toshihide Ando and Hon Kei Takagi, Member of the House of Representative, where we shared a meaningful Hanukkah evening with our guests under the glow of candlelight.
This year, in collaboration with Shalva Center, an Israeli organization supporting people with disabilities, we hosted a special art exhibition showcasing the creative expressions of children living under wartime conditions.
Last December, Mr. Yaakov Argamani participated in this same venue as a representative of the families of hostages. This June, he was reunited with his daughter, Noa, after her release—a moment of profound emotion.
Yet, many others are still waiting for the day their loved ones will return home. May the light of Hanukkah candles serve as a beacon of hope and freedom.
