About the consular section

Our main task is to ensure the safety and protection of the rights of Israeli nationals. We also handle procedures related to notifications of household changes, and issue visas to Israel.
The Consular Section's primary task is to protect the lives and rights of Israeli nationals residing in Japan. When Israelis are involved in various incidents, such as accidents, disasters, or being arrested in Japan, the section acts as a liaison with the State of Israel and does its best to solve the problem and makes every effort to resolve the matter.
We also accept notification of residence for Israeli nationals residing in Japan, accept notification of change of family status and change of registration information with the Ministry of the Interior of the home country on their behalf, and accept visa applications and issue visas for non-Israeli nationals.
