During his visit, Ambassador paid courtesy calls on Mr. Takekuni Ikeda, the Vice Governor of Okinawa Prefecture, Mr. Satoru Chinen, Mayor of Naha City, and H.E. Mr. Manabu Miyagawa, MOFA Okinawa Liaison Office. They discussed specific topics related to the potential for collaboration between Israel and Okinawa in areas such as defense, economic growth, tourism development, and educational exchange from a long-term perspective.

He also visited the Okinawa Employers' Association and met with business leaders to explore opportunities for collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
 

During his visit to the Okinawa Prefectural Peace Memorial Park & Museum, he paid his respects at the National Okinawa War Dead Mausoleum to express solidarity with the people of Okinawa and Japan and the all fallen soldiers in the Battle of Okinawa.
