Political Affairs Department

The Vice Ambassador is leading the political activity of the embassy, and in that framework, he is in charge of the embassy's relations with the parliament. He maintains relations with senior contacts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other governmental agencies and advices the Ambassador concerning the relations with the government.

Besides, the Vice Ambassador, with the assistance of his staff, is in charge of managing the activity of the Embassy of Israel to Italy, including the overall responsibility for the work of the various departments (Press, Economy, Public Affairs, Culture, Administration and Consular services).
