The Embassy of Israel in Rome provides consular services in accordance with Israeli law regulating entry and travel documents.

Consular activity and consular relations between Countries are defined by the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, signed on 28 April 1963, which the State of Israel has signed and on the basis of which it acts.

The State of Israel provides consular services in Israel and abroad through the Consular Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Israeli Missions Abroad.

We provide services for Israeli citizens and foreign citizens, such as: birth registration, updating personal status, issuance and extension of travel documents, authentication of notarial deeds for legal purposes, certification of existence in life, request of documents of the Ministry of Interior and the Israeli Police, procedures for referral of Military Service for Israelis living abroad and examination of applications for entry visas to Israel.

The services are provided remotely or in-person at the Embassy, as appropriate.

In-person services at the Embassy, can be done only by appointment, using the digital system.

The consular staff is at your disposal via e-mail, by telephone during telephone reception hours and by services at the Embassy by appointment.
