About the Embassy

The Embassy of Israel in Italy serves as the official representative body of the State of Israel in Italy, and believes in the development of diplomatic relations between the State of Israel and the Italian Republic, through the promotion of joint activities in diverse fields. Starting from the establishment of collaborations between key parties in all areas of society, academia, economy, culture, security and others. Continuing with organizing joint initiatives and events in order to promote the acquaintance of the Italian public with Israel. In addition, the Embassy promotes relations between Israel and Italy at the governmental and political level.

The Embassy also provides consular services, including issuing visas to foreign visitors to Israel, issuing passports and providing additional services to Israeli citizens in Italy.

The Embassy also serves as the official representative body of the State of Israel in the Republic of San Marino, and it hosts and shares in a common compound the offices of the Israeli mission to international organizations in Rome, and the Israeli embassy to the Holy See.
