Ambassador Nadav Goren visited the department of Choluteca, in southern Honduras.
The Israeli Ambassador to Honduras, Nadav Goren, visited the department of Choluteca for the first time on November 25, with the aim of exploring opportunities for cooperation in various areas of the country.
During his visit, Ambassador Goren met with the Mayor of Choluteca, Quintín Soriano, to discuss possible areas of collaboration, agricultural technology, water management and treatment, as well as the challenges facing the shrimp industry. Both agreed on the importance of working together to promote economic growth in southern Honduras. Mayor Soriano expressed his support for the State of Israel and highlighted the importance of joining forces to find innovative solutions to current challenges in the agricultural and shrimp sectors.
In addition, the Ambassador held a meeting with members of the Southern Chamber of Commerce, where issues related to bilateral trade between the two countries were discussed. During the visit, shrimp farms and packing plants were visited, where experiences were exchanged and areas of collaboration were identified, particularly in the use of Israeli technology.
Ambassador Goren expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome received in the region and offered various options for future collaboration. This visit represents a significant step in strengthening cooperation between Honduras and Israel, opening new doors for joint development in various areas.
