The Israeli Ambassador to Honduras, Nadav Goren, visited the community of Cuyalí, located in the department of El Paraíso, on Thursday (02/13), where the Israeli Embassy made a donation of soccer equipment for the local children. Accompanied by the mayor of El Paraíso, Ligia Laínez, the equipment was handed over to the children, marking the first visit by the Israeli Embassy to the eastern part of the country.

The donation includes uniforms, cones, and soccer balls and aims to promote the sports development of the children in this municipality. Ambassador Goren emphasized the importance of this donation: "This donation of uniforms and sports equipment is a small example of how collaboration and friendship between our countries can have a positive impact on communities, especially on the younger generation, who are the future of our society."

The emotional event was attended by municipal authorities, coordinators of the Cuyalí soccer teams, teachers from local educational centers, as well as parents and children who benefited from the donation. The community welcomed Ambassador Goren with traditional dances performed by the Casa de la Cultura of El Paraíso and the students of Kinder Ilusiones of Cuyalí. During the visit, the residents shared with the Ambassador the history of El Paraíso and the community of Cuyalí, offering a closer insight into their traditions and legacy.

The children, excited, wore their new uniforms and soccer equipment, practicing with the balls that were handed out. Ambassador Nadav Goren’s visit to Cuyalí reflects the strong commitment of the Israeli Embassy to the development of communities and the Honduran youth.
