The Consular Department at the Embassy of Israel in London has jurisdiction over the United Kingdom: England, Wales, Scotland, North Ireland and Gibraltar.
Consul General Sima Doovdevani
Ms. Sima Doovdevani serves as the Consul General at the Embassy of the State of Israel in London. She has been in position since July 2022.
In her previous position Ms. Doovdevani was Head of Department of Israelis Abroad for five years.
Furthermore, Ms. Doovdevani served in China between the years of 2000-2003 as Deputy Chief of Admin and Consular in Beijing, and between 2009-2012 as Chief of Admin and Consular in Guangzhou.
After her position in Guangzhou, Ms. Doovdevani served in various roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HQ in Jerusalem, including short periods in Tunisia and Guatemala.
Ms. Doovdevani was also the first Consul of the State of Israel in Dubai upon the opening of the Israeli Mission to Dubai.
