Economic Co-operation & Science Department

The goal of the Department of Economic Cooperation & Science is to strengthen German-Israeli cooperation in addressing global agenda topics and to leverage Israeli and German strengths to tackle the challenges of our times.

We are focused on deepening collaboration in pioneering industries that intersect policy, science, and research & development.

We are committed to establishing partnerships and agreements at the federal and state levels with governmental institutions, leading research centers, organizations and technology companies in Germany. Our approach is cross-sectoral, with a focus on the following core industries:

Climate
Health
Energy
Emerging technologies, such as AI, quantum technology or space
Digitalization

Additionally, our Department acts as a link between Israeli and international bodies such as UNFCCC and UNCCD to develop solutions for global challenges.
