Israeli citizens and residents or anyone with an interest in receiving a registration extract with details from the Population Registry.
By mail – the required forms and documents should be sent together with a photocopy of an identifying document.
By email – the required forms and documents should be attached to the email.
Please note:
If the application is on behalf of an immediate family member – a power of attorney and the ID card of the family member should be attached.
If the application is on behalf of another family member or another person – a power of attorney from a lawyer or a court judgment should be attached.
Any visit to a mission must be arranged in advance through the online appointment scheduler.
The affidavit that is to be signed must be prepared in advance.
No fee is charged for the service.
A registry extract will include the following data:
- Identity number
- Full name
- Parents' names
- Date and place of birth
- Date of addition (if relevant)
- Citizenship
- Marital status
- Address
An extended registry extract will also include:
- Previous first names
- Children's details
- Details of spouses and parents
- Previous addresses
- Date of marriage/divorce/widowhood
- Religion and nationality
Make sure to state on the application form which kind of extract you wish to receive.
If an apostille stamp is required, a fee will be collected according to the Consular Schedule of Fees.
