Isaac Herzog, the Head of State of Israel, during his two-day visit to the region, was received at the government building in Tirana by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

After a tête-à-tête meeting and a tour that Prime Minister Rama gives to every high senior official welcoming in his office, the two leaders held a joint statement to the media.
The Head of Government reassured Albania's support to Israel in its war against Hamas, calling for the release of the hostages.
President Isaac Herzog in his turn thanked Albania for the support it has shown Israel in its long-lasting struggle against Anti-Semitism.
He also made a greeting in Albanian for the Albanian people.
