NATIV HAS RESUMED ACCEPTANCE OF CANDIDATES FOR REPATRIATION

Reception for consular checks of candidates for repatriation is carried out in full at all NATIV representative offices in the countries of the former USSR. Those who have already submitted documents for consular verification will receive an invitation indicating the exact date and time of the appointment.

Visitors are accepted only by appointment.​

With this service, non-Israeli citizens of the former Soviet Union can check their eligibility for repatriation to Israel under the Law of Return.

Required documents (must be submitted in original):

•    Foreign and general passports valid for at least 6 months for all family members and having at least two blank pages (one spread); passports of other states whose citizens are those applying for consular check.
•    Color passport photographs measuring 4x5 cm of all family members;
•    Original birth certificates of all family members, including siblings, eligible for repatriation under the Law of Return;
•    Certificates confirming the marital status of all family members;
•    Parents’ marriage (and/or divorce) certificate;
•    Certificate of Paternity Establishment
•    Certificate of change of first and/or last name
•    Originals of parents’ birth certificates;
•    Marriage (and/or divorce) certificate of the grandparents of the parent eligible for repatriation under the Law of Return;
•    Identifications and documents of grandparents;
•    Death certificates of grandparents and parents (if available);
•    Documents on work activity, military service, education:
A. the family members themselves,
b. their parents
V. their grandparents
•    Spouse IDs and documents, including birth certificate, certificates of previous marriages and divorces, death certificates of previous spouse
•    Any other documents indicating the right to repatriation in accordance with the Law of Return, including details of blood relatives, including cousins.
•    Documents of close relatives living in Israel, including Israeli ID card numbers, as well as home addresses, telephone numbers and the exact date of repatriation to Israel.

Apostille

Attention: The Israeli Ministry of Internal Affairs has approved an additional requirement when processing documents for repatriation.
According to the new rules, from August 1, 2019, all citizens aged 14 to 75 years who submit documents for consular check to the NATIV consulate abroad (or in Israel as part of a change of status) must provide a certificate of no criminal record with an APOSTILLE stamp. .

Important: if necessary, the consul has the right to request additional documents.

Application Process

•    Contact your nearest Israeli mission by phone or email to schedule a consular appointment, or use the online scheduling system.
•    To obtain a visa for a new repatriate, the personal presence of all family members, including children of any age, is required.
•    You must have the originals of the above documents with you.

Strict adherence to these rules and instructions will help you reduce waiting time and avoid repeated visits to the embassy.

Attention:
•    For security reasons, it is prohibited to bring weapons, handbags and other hand luggage, as well as food and drinks into the Embassy territory.
•    Entering phones and other electronic devices into the embassy premises is strictly prohibited. All necessary data and contacts of close relatives must be carried with you on paper.
