Continuing fruitful cooperation, on January 7, the Embassy of Israel and the Israeli International Aid agency MASHAV donated to the RCSAC two hippo-trainers for children with cerebral palsy - this is special equipment that improves coordination of movements and strengthens the weakened muscles of the child. The product realistically imitates horse riding, activates the muscles of the body, limbs and musculoskeletal system. Cerebral palsy is the third most common disease among children (patients) of the center.
Israeli methods for children of Uzbekistan In the Republican Center for Social Adaptation of Children
The donation was made on the occasion of the opening of a training course for the Tashkent center stuff and Samarkand, Karchi and Ferghana brunches on the topic of "Working with children with autism spectrum disorders", which was chosen by the request of the RCSAC. An expert from Israel, Ms. Marina Tredler, is well aware of the activity of the Center, as she conducted two courses directly at the Center in the past on behalf of MASHAV and the Embassy of Israel.
Opening the course, the Ambassador of the State of Israel Gideon Lustig noted that the Center shows genuine concern for children and the dedication of the center's team to their work. “This contribution is an example of Israel’s long-standing relationship with the Center, and of the implementing of Israeli excellent know-how and technologies in the field of children medicine and therapy to our partner in Uzbekistan”.
Director of the RCSAC Vasilya Alimova thanked Israel and the embassy for their active assistance and participation in the development of the center.
Israeli methods of adaptation of children with disabilities have been widely used in the RCSAC since the first years of the center's existence, which provides comprehensive medical, social, psychological, pedagogical and advisory-legal assistance to children from socially vulnerable groups of the population (children with disabilities, children left without parental care, as well as children at social and legal risk).
