Please note: A criminal record certificate can only be sent directly to the requesting entity the cost is $12 (Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland only), with payment for postage via FedEx. If you wish to collect the certificate, you can do so by scheduling an appointment at the consulate only.
You must also fill out a mail delivery form + credit card information form. Alternatively, you can come to us to pick up the certificate after it arrives from Israel.

On regular days, several weeks must be considered until the certificate reaches us.

Israeli citizens and foreigners over the age of criminal responsibility (12 years and up) may request to receive from the Israel Police a Criminal Information Certificate containing information about them.

Download the Request for Criminal Information form from the website. Complete the form and attach a letter of request.
Please note:
The certificate will be issued in Hebrew and in English.
The list of convictions will appear in Hebrew only.
The mission will deliver the certificate directly to the entity that is entitled to receive it.
Any visit to a mission must be arranged in advance through the online appointment scheduler.
The affidavit that is to be signed must be prepared in advance.
The service is provided free of charge.
If an apostille is required, a fee will be collected according to the Consular Schedule of Fees.
The cost of mailing will be determined according to the required destination.

Security instructions for people who wish to obtain consular services at the consulate office
• The consulate’s security directives apply to people in the consular waiting room. Please respect the security requirements at all times!
1. Bring a photo ID.
2. All visitors and their belongings will be required to undergo a security check.
3. No personal objects will be allowed in the embassy, including mobile phones and electronic devices.
4. No bags/handbags or suitcases are allowed.
5. No food and/or beverage bottles or containers are allowed.
