Welcome to the Embassy of Israel in the United Arab Emirates.

The embassy of Israel in Abu Dhabi acts as Israel's official diplomatic representation in the United Arab Emirates. It aims to emphasize diplomacy, cooperation and the advancement of national interests; deepen political engagement; foster diplomatic ties; expand economic and trade collaboration; encourage cultural interchange; offer consular services to Israeli citizens and foreign nationals; assist in resolving disputes; safeguard national security.

Following the signing of the Abraham Accords in September 2020, Israel's Embassy in the United Arab Emirates opened its doors on June 29, 2021, in Abu Dhabi. His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE, hosted the event, which was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Yair Lapid. The establishment of the first Israeli embassy in a Gulf nation holds significance for Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and the broader region.

The Embassy of Israel engages in wide range of channels including diplomatic, political, economic, cultural and consular activities. It is the formal diplomatic representation of Israel in the UAE, maintaining open lines of communication with the UAE government and offering a formal avenue for dialogue. The embassy engages in political activities that advance Israel's interests and foreign policy objectives, including diplomatic discussions and dialogues, and participation in international organizations and forums.

The embassy builds and strengthens economic and trade ties between the United Arab Emirates and Israel by laying the legal and formal infrastructure for trade activity and promoting business relations including trade visits, networking events and business meetings.

The embassy also promotes cultural exchanges to foster understanding and appreciation of both country's traditions. It provides information about Israel to the UAE media and public, and supports collaboration in education, sports, and other fields enhancing relations between the peoples of the two nations.

The embassy provides consular services to Israeli nationals who are residing or visiting the UAE and lends them a helping hand in times of crisis or strife. It serves foreign nationals looking to obtain visas and Emirati nationals with other consular issues. The embassy manages crisis involving our citizens in the UAE, such as accidents and personal tragedy. Providing guidance and support when necessary.
