The 75th Independence Day of the State of Israel was celebrated in the first National Day Reception in the United Arab Emirates.

The 75th Independence Day of the State of Israel was celebrated in the first National Day Reception in the United Arab Emirates with the participation of over 650 guests including H.E. Ahmed bin Ali al-Sayegh, Minister of State in the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Mohamed Al Khaja, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Israel, senior government officials and businessmen, 60 Foreign Ambassadors, Social Media Influencers, Rabbis, and families of the Jewish community in the UAE.

One of the unforgettable moments of the evening was when Emirati classical singer, Ahmed Al-Hosni, and the Israeli singer Nicole Raviv sang together for the first time the anthem of the United Arab Emirates "Aishi Biladi" and the Israeli anthem "Hatikva". Another exciting moment during the evening was when the singer and composer Miki Gavrielov and the Emirati classical singer Ahmed Al-Hosni performed a moving duet in Hebrew and Arabic of the well-known Israeli song "Me and you will change the world". During the reception, H.E. Ambassador Amir Hayek delivered a speech, in which he expressed his gratitude to the UAE for its warm hospitality and reiterated Israel's commitment to deepening ties with its new partner. H.E Hayek said: “We feel honored to thank the president of the UAE His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the leadership of the UAE and the Emirati people for their cooperation with the state of Israel for the benefit of both nations and future generations”. He added “We are witnessing a start-up that is turning into a unicorn in front of our eyes. It is a relationship between cousins who hadn’t met for fifty years and are doing everything to close the gap. Relations of family members. The family of Abraham”.
