The Consular Department

The Consular Department provides services to Israeli citizens living permanently in Toronto and Western Canada, to Israelis staying in Canada for tourism purposes, and to foreign citizens wishing to come to Israel.

Security guidelines for visitors to the mission:

Appointments are required. Visitors who arrive without an appointment will not be allowed to enter.

Entry into the consulate is permitted. This includes spouses and family members. Seniors, the disabled, and minors requiring consular services may only arrive with one (1) companion.

You must bring a photo ID (passport or ID card).

Each visitor is required to pass A thorough security check will be conducted before entering the waiting room. Security guidelines apply to everyone visiting the Consulate.

Do not bring large bags to your appointment, including large backpacks, suitcases or briefcases. Personal purses or bags are permitted.

All food, beverages and containers containing liquids are prohibited from entering the Consulate

All electronic items (cell phones, headphones, e-cigarettes, etc.) must be deposited in safes (not affiliated with the Consulate) for a fee of $5.00 CAD. You will have access to your devices after your appointment.
The Mission’s security guidelines will apply to those in the Consular Waiting Room.

Remember to bring a means of payment. We do not accept cash or checks – only debit/credit cards (except American Express).

Sending applications to the consulate by mail:

Please note before sending mail to the consulate that the service you are requesting is available by mail!

When sending by mail, all required documents must be enclosed in the envelope, including a credit card payment consent form. We accept credit cards only by mail. We do not accept debit, American Express checks or cash. In addition, a return envelope with an address and tracking number must be enclosed in the envelope. Contact information (phone number and email address) must also be included.
