The signing of this MOU is a significant milestone in the collaboration between the State of Israel and the Kingdom of Thailand to reach mutual development and to facilitate bilateral cooperation in cybersecurity field.
The MOU will serve as a platform for activities and programs covering the exchange of knowledge on cybersecurity policies and incidents, human resource development, facilitation of joint ventures with the cyber industry and the academy and more. This capacity building will enhance the level of cyber security at the national level in both countries.
Ambassador of Israel Ms. Orna Sagiv: “Israel has been providing cyber security solutions which have enhanced the robustness, resilience, and security of other nations and organizations around the world, making a global impact. Our world is becoming more and more digital on the personal and governmental level, which means it is becoming more and more vulnerable to new threats. Threats that have no location and no borders. Threats that can only be dealt with if countries learn from each other and collaborate and each other.
This MOU today is a declaration of friendship and trust. It says that our two countries trust each other to face these new challenges together. This will lead to an even stronger and closer partnership between Israel and Thailand.”
