Press and Public Diplomacy

The Embassy Press and Public Diplomacy Department acts as a resource for editors, journalists and broadcasters, with the aim of providing information and official statements on issues related to Israel. 

This includes areas of economic, cultural and social interest as well as political developments. The department is also responsible for the embassies digital channels and communication through them.

The Press and Public Diplomacy Department organizes interviews and briefings for members of the media with the Ambassador, the Embassy Deputy Head of Mission and other Israeli diplomats and representatives visiting Switzerland.

In addition, Israeli officials and experts in a variety of fields are regularly hosted by the department, which coordinates meetings between them and journalists or media personnel. As well as the above, the department is happy to assist members of the press traveling to Israel with written and visual information and help in arranging meetings and interviews on arrival.

The department also caries out digital diplomacy through social media and other digital media channels.
