Rodica Radian-Gordon assumed her role as the Ambassador of Israel to Spain in September 2019. Prior to this appointment, she served as the Director General of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) from 2016 to 2019. She has held several other distinguished positions including Ambassador of Israel to Mexico (2010-2015), Director of the Arms Control Department in the Division of Strategic Affairs (2007-2010), Ambassador of Israel to Romania (2003-2007), and Director of the Economic and Strategic Aspects Department at the Political Research Center (2002-2003).

Entering the Diplomatic Service in 1991, she brings a wealth of experience to her current role. Radian-Gordon holds a Doctorate in Biochemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1987) and is a biologist by profession. Additionally, she earned a Master's degree in National Security Studies from the University of Haifa (2001) and participated in the Senior Wexner Leaders Program at the Harvard Kennedy School in 2018.
