The MASHAV Agricultural Training Centre (MATC) in Israel invites professionals to take part in the 'Agricultural Extension: Systems, Methods & Tools’ course that will be held at the MATC in Kibbutz Shefayim, situated 20km north of Tel Aviv and near the coastal town of Netanya, between the dates 22 July to 2 August 2024.
The MASHAV Agricultural Training Centre (MATC) in Israel invites professionals to take part in the 'Agricultural Extension: Systems, Methods & Tools’ course that will be held at the MATC in Kibbutz Shefayim, situated 20km north of Tel Aviv and near the coastal town of Netanya, between the dates 22 July to 2 August 2024.
The training program will include professional lectures and field visits on, among others:
- The role of extension in sustainable agricultural development
- Developing and delivering extension programs
- Participative approaches
- Strengthening research-extension-farmer linkages
Participant requirements: The course is geared towards professionals involved in agricultural extension.
Candidates should hold an academic degree in relevant disciplines and have at least two years of professional work experience in related fields.
A full command of English is required.
MASHAV awards a limited number of scholarships that cover the cost of the training programme, including lectures and field visits, full board accommodation in double rooms, health insurance (refer to brochure for details) and transfers to and from the airport in Israel.
Airfares and daily allowance are not included in the scholarship. These must be covered by the sending organisation /participant.

Selection is not automatic, applications will go through a selection process in Israel.
Once selected, the participant must have a passport valid for six months after their return from Israel.
