In Bratislava there are four large hospitals, one of which is located in the Old Town (Mickiewiczova Street).
If you arrive to the hospital by ambulance, there is no need to wait in line, but those who arrive independently are required to wait in line at the emergency department. Foreign citizens must pay when entering the hospital. Since the hospital might not accept credit cards, it is recommended to have some cash.
