The department is responsible for issuing public statements, managing the Embassy’s social media channels, as well as aiming to provide Singaporean media personnel and the general public with up-to-date information on its happenings. The Press Office is mostly in contact with Israeli and Singaporean news resources. It explains Israel's position on different matters, coordinate and organizes interviews and meetings between the Embassy’s staff and diplomats, guests of the Embassy, the media, and the general public. The Press department can also provide information on current political developments, background material, and cultural material.
