Digital entry visa for tourists: Electronic Travel Authorization - ETA IL

Dear visitors,

As of January 1st, 2025, all tourists arriving in Israel from visa-exempt countries are required to have a digital entry visa for tourists (Electronic Travel Authorization - ETA IL).
Tourists are required to apply for the ETA IL up to 72 hours prior to their arrival.

- The ETA-IL authorization is valid for two years or until the passport expires (whichever comes first).
- The ETA-IL authorization requires payment of a fee of 25 NIS (paid by a credit card, non-refundable).
- In the case of issuing a new travel document, change of name/gender/citizenship, a new entry application must be submitted.
- The ETA-IL authorization is valid for up to 90 days during one visit; For a longer stay, an application must be submitted to the Population and Immigration Authority.

- Note that if you already have any other type of visa (student/business/other), you don’t need to apply for ETA-IL.
- It should be noted that the digital visa does not replace the border control; All visitors are required to check and go through border control.
