How do children become “inventors”? Israeli Writers' Workshop for Children give you an answer

WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN

On August 14, 2023, in the China-Israel (Shanghai) Innovation Park, Yonit Werber, a writer from Israel, brought a workshop to the small inventors of the Global Invention Conference China (ICC) ICC. This themed workshop was co-organized by the Israeli Consulate in Shanghai, Global Invention Conference China (ICC) and Hao Xiaonan CLUB. It aims to experience economics from a child's perspective, stimulate the innovative thinking of the younger generation, and enable small inventors to be like real Think like an entrepreneur.

At the beginning of the event, Wang Weilian, convener of the Global Invention Conference China, said in his speech: "Human beings have motivations, emotions and limited lives, so we are different from robots. I hope this event can inspire the innovative thinking of the younger generation and become a life-changing moment."

As an internationally renowned children's best-selling author, Yonit came this time with her 41st work "Nobel Economics Comics for Children", which was recently published in China, to share her ideas and experiences with the little inventors present.  She firmly believes that future talents should possess the important quality of "entrepreneurship". Through on-site interactive Q&A, she helps more children establish a correct concept of wealth, cultivate positive business thinking from an early age, and help children no longer feel confused about concepts such as "economy" and "business".

At the event, Yonit shared the successful experiences in innovative inventions and business of small inventors from different countries and ages. These innovation stories opened the young inventors' horizons and gave them an in-depth understanding of how to cleverly innovate technology. The "little inventors" present discussed issues related to innovation and entrepreneurship with Yonit. She encourages children to think and innovate with divergent thinking. In her view, parents should also try their best to help their children explore their creativity and support them to realize their ideas.
