For those coming to Montenegro: you must take extra care of your Israeli travel documents, if your passport is lost/stolen, the process of issuing a new travel document (passport or one-time travel document) cannot be carried out immediately, due to the lack of an Israeli representative office in Montenegro.

The process of issuing a travel document to foreigners for the purpose of returning to Israel by the local authorities takes between 6-10 working days (minimum), so the Israeli travel documents must be kept carefully.

In case of losing an Israeli passport, you must report it to the closest police station and obtain a police report.

At the same time, you should contact the Israeli Embassy in Belgrade for further instructions. ( phone: +381113643500 or email: consular@belgrade.mfa.gov.il)

With the report, a notification is sent to the authorities and an inspection process by the locals begins, which lasts up to 10 days, at the end of which you can receive a one-time travel document (Travel Document for foreigners).

With this travel document you can return to Israel by direct flight only.

Upon your arrival in Israel, you must contact the authorities to issue a new travel document.
