Press and Digital Diplomacy Department
The Embassy's Press and Digital Diplomacy Department serves as a resource for editors, journalists, and broadcasters by providing information and official statements on issues related to Israel.
The Press Department maintains relations with the leading figures in Senegal's print and broadcast media. It provides them with all the assistance they need to cover events in the Middle East, both in the form of press releases and by putting them in touch with Israeli personalities and contacts in Israel and Senegal. The Press Office provides accreditation for Senegalese journalists wishing to report from Israel. In addition, it is responsible for analyzing the image of Israel in the Senegalese media.
The department is also responsible for the embassy's digital channels and communication. The Press and Digital Diplomacy Department arranges interviews and briefings for media members with the Ambassador, the Embassy Deputy Head of Mission, and other Israeli diplomats and representatives visiting Senegal.
