Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Portugal Oren Rozenblat
Oren Rozenblat is the Ambassador of Israel to Portugal since December 2024.
Prior to that, he was senior Diplomatic Advisor to Knesset, the Israeli Parliament, and served as Ambassador to Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mozambique and São Tomé e Principe.
Among his duties, he was also Deputy Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem, Deputy Consul General in Shanghai, China, Deputy Consul General in Atlanta, USA and Consul in Israeli Embassy in Kenya.
Ambassador Rozenblat has a Bachelor and Master Degree in Law from Bar -Ilan University in Ramat Gan in Israel and worked as Commercial Law Attorney, representing European companies and was elected Member of the Israeli Lawyers Association.
Ambassador Rozenblat holds rank of Captain in Israeli Army and was a deputy commander of an Infantry Company.
Is married to Rivka Rosenblat, a lawyer, and has one daughter and two sons.
Ambassador Rozenblat created a startup company called “The Tooth Genie” that improves the orthodontic care of children and patents in this area are registered on his name.
