A notice of change of mailing address can be given by Israeli citizens and residents over age 18.
The service is provided to applicants on their own behalf or on behalf of their children who are below age 18.
Notice of change of mailing address
A notice of change of mailing address consists of two stages:
1. Notification by the applicant at an Israeli mission abroad
2. Confirmation of consent by the property owner at the address to which the mail is to be sent, given in person at the Population Authority
The property owner at the address to which the mail is to be sent can be authorized to submit the request in Israel, through a notarized power of attorney or a power of attorney signed before the consular representative.
Notice of mailing address or change of mailing address
To visit the embassy, it is necessary schedule an appointment in advance.
Before coming to the mission, make sure you have with you all the required documents and completed forms.
The service is free of charge.
For contacting about consular issues, you must write in the email your full name and (Israeli) ID number, and the reason for contacting the consular department.
Please noted:
Changing an address (addressee) for sending mail to any address requires the consent of the addressee. He must also, at the same time, appear at the Population Registry Office at his place of residence in Israel and sign that he approves receiving mail from someone else at his address.
The applicant must know that if the owner of the address (addressee) to whom he wishes to have his mail sent does not come to the Population and Immigration Authority office in his city of residence in Israel and sign a consent form on his own initiative - his request will not be processed by the Authority.
