Making a notarized affidavit before a consular representative at an Israeli mission abroad

This service enables holders of Israeli citizenship and foreigners to sign a written notarized affidavit at an Israeli mission abroad

The person signing the affidavit must appear in person at the mission.
If the signatory is below age 18 , he must come to the mission in the company of his parents or guardian.
Please note:
Before coming to the mission, it is advisable to check if the affiant must be accompanied by both parents.

Verifications that the embassy is not allowed to do:
1. Signing a lasting power of attorney (a lasting power of attorney is made before a lawyer who has undergone specialized professional training on behalf of the general guardian).
2. Signing wills.
3. Signing financial agreements.

The request may be submitted by Israeli citizens and foreign citizens who wish to submit an affidavit in Israel.

How to apply

After the affidavit has been prepared  it must be brought in person to an Israeli mission in the country where the affiant lives. The affiant is required to identify himself by means of a passport or ID card.
The service is provided for affidavits in various languages.

Please note: When the affidavit is written in a language other than Hebrew or English, it is necessary to check before coming to the mission whether the service is provided in the required language.

To visit the mission, it is necessary to schedule an appointment in advance.

Before coming to the mission, make sure you have with you all the required documents and completed forms.

For contacting about consular issues, you must write in the email your full name and (Israeli) ID number, and the reason for contacting the consular department.
Information

Signature verifications/ declaration confirmation must come with the following documents:
1. The original documents- do not sign it (signing has to be done in front of the consul only!).
2. Israeli passport.
3. 15 euros in cash and accurate- for each document
4. For each additional copy/signers an additional 7 euros must be paid.

Please note that we can verify a document that has up to 15 attachments and no more.

If there are 2 signatories, they do not sign the same document, it is an additional copy that each person signs separately!
