Where the application is submitted by a spouse or a first-degree relative or an attorney holding a power of attorney, they must appear in person at the mission.
This service is available to foreign nationals born in Israel.
By email – the documents listed above should be scanned and attached to the application, which should be sent to an Israeli mission in the country where the applicant is staying.
By mail – according to the instructions appearing on the Ministry's website.
To visit the mission, it is necessary to schedule an appointment in advance.
Before coming to the mission, make sure you have with you all the required documents and completed forms.
No fee is charged for this service.
For contacting about consular issues, you must write in the email your full name and (Israeli) ID number, The reason for contacting the department must be written as well
To order the birth certificate-
1) Fill out the application form attached to the email. In order for the certificate to be bilingual, it is mandatory to record the personal details of the person about whom the application is requested in English as well. Please make sure to fill out all the fields in the form, without exception, in Hebrew and English.
2) Attach a photo of an Israeli passport.
3) If necessary - to receive a certificate with an apostille, you can make a bank transfer of 10 euros to the embassy's bank account (details attached to the email) for a stamp fee Apostille and attach a reference for mandatory payment!
It should be noted- that the certificate can be issued without an apostille signature and it is free of charge.
Please note:
1) Those who were not born in Israel cannot request a birth certificate.
2) The certificate can be bilingual in English and Hebrew, you must indicate it on the form.
3) The certificate is not issued at the representative office and takes at least 40 days to arrive.
Everything must be sent to email in a PDF file only, an application that is not filled out correctly will not be processed.
