Culture and Academics
The culture department promotes activities and events in Peru in the fields of dance, theater, cinema, music, literature and plastic arts from Israel. The department connects and creates connections between cultural and educational bodies in Israel (such as festivals, production companies, art galleries, libraries, universities, etc.) and governmental and private cultural and educational organizations in Peru. The department also provides current information on cultural and art events taking place in Israel.
The department also helps organize seminars with local universities, organizes events related to the Holocaust and the Yad Vashem museum in Jerusalem, and is responsible for scholarships.
