Itai received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Open University of Israel and a master's degree in Business Administration from the Ono Academic College. He served as major at the IDF forces at the Artillery corps and the Israeli Border Police.
Married to Sarit and a father to three children.
Languages: Hebrew, English, Spanish and moderate knowledge of Arabic.
