The Economic Affair Departments has a main responsability promote, improve and facilitate bilateral trade between the State of Israel and Panama, industrial and R&D investments between both countries.
• Provide information to interested individuals, organizations and state and private authorities about Israeli manufacturers and exporters, trade organizations and state authorities.
• Organization of visits by business and state delegations.
• Dissemination of materials related to Israelis economy to interested people, authorities and organizations.
• Establish and maintain contacts with various authorities and organizations in Israel and Panama.
• Provide information about exhibitions and companies related to the economy in Israel and Panama.
• Organizes events in conjunction with the Panama-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, which has opened a channel that seeks to take advantage of Panama's strategic position and see opportunities for Israel to expand trade in Latin America.
• Promote investment projects, innovation, technology, cybersecurity, among others, as part of the benefits offered by the Free Trade Agreement signed between Panama and Israel.
