Shmulik Arie Bass, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Nepal
Ambassador Shmulik Arie Bass as the 21st Ambassdor of Israel to Nepal, bringing a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in diplomacy, spanning over 30 years.
Ambassador Bass holds M.A. degree with honors in Political Science, majoring in Diplomacy, from Tel Aviv University, as well as expertise as a System Analyst in Computer Software at Ministry of Labor.
Ambassador Bass has a diverse and accomplished career with numerous key diplomatic posts. His most recent roles include Senior Political Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice (current Foreign Minister), Director of the South American Department within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has also worked at various positions in Asia, Latin America and Europe. Furthermore, his comprehensive training encompasses Director’s course at the Israeli Center for Directorship and a Management Course at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Fluent in Hebrew, English and Spanish, Ambassador Bass is committed to fostering strong bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation between Nepal and Israel.
He is married to Ms. Meirav Peleg Bass, and they have three children.
