MASHAV is Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation. Israel has been sharing its expertise learned in the course of its development through MASHAV in the fields of agriculture, education, science, technology, entrepreneurship, water resources and many more.
MASHAV, founded in 1958, was inspired by the vision of then Foreign Minister, Golda Meir and the Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion, to share Israeli expertise and technologies to support the development of other nations, as these efforts provided the basis of Israel’s own development.
MASHAV offers a variety of training courses for Nepali participants. To date, over 3500 Nepalese have participated in MASHAV training courses. Upon completing MASHAV courses and returning to Nepal, participants will join the Shalom Club Nepal- the alumni network of MASHAV graduates.
