Effective September 1st, 2021, Consular Services will be facilitated by VFS Kathmandu. Hence, we kindly request you to submit your application through VFS Kathmandu. For any inquiries or assistance, please visit VFS. Please note that this arrangement applies to all foreigners seeking any type of consular services.
Security instructions for people who are scheduled to obtain consular services at the mission offices:
- Assure to bring an original ID/passport document. Only government issued documents are accepted
- Every visitor and his belongings will be required to undergo a security check.
- For security purposes, no personal objects will be allowed into the mission, including handbags, mobile phones and electronic devices.
- Avoid bringing large handbags or suitcases to the mission.
- Any food, beverage bottles or containers are prohibited.
- The mission’s security directives apply to people in the consular waiting room. The instructions of the security staff must be obeyed at all times.
