The Purim festival was celebrated this year at the Children of Kyaw Zu Taw (Grace Children Home) in Yangon which was recently completed the renovation – "From the Israel Nir-Oz Orphans to Yangon Orphans" project began in July 2024 to honor the Bibas brothers.

Purim is a joyful Jewish holiday celebrating the salvation of the Jewish people, as recounted in the Book of Esther. It is a time for festive celebrations, wearing costumes, sharing food and drinks, and giving gifts.
This year, the Purim festival was celebrated with great joy at the Children of Kyaw Zu Taw (Grace Children Home) in Yangon, where the Embassy of Israel brought the holiday spirit to life. The embassy provided delicious food, refreshing drinks, and fun Purim-themed costumes creating a lively atmosphere.
A special highlight of the celebration was the presence of the Sri Lankan Ambassador, who joined the event and shared in the wonderful experience with the children, making the occasion even more memorable. It was a heartwarming celebration of joy, unity, tradition and togetherness.
