Delivering 10 Tons of Emergency Aid to Earthquake-Hit Mandalay

In the wake of the devastating earthquake in Central Myanmar on March 28, the Embassy of Israel in Yangon, with support from MASHAV, has delivered 10 tons of humanitarian aid to affected communities in Mandalay.

In response to the devastating earthquake that struck Central Myanmar on March 28, 2025, the Embassy of Israel in Yangon, in cooperation with MASHAV – Israel Aid Agency, has delivered 10 tons of critical humanitarian aid to affected communities in Mandalay.

The emergency supplies include food, essential medicines, baby diapers, and motorbikes to ensure aid reaches even the most remote and inaccessible areas, where roads have been severely damaged.

This aid has been distributed by the Ambassador Ruth Zakh with love from the people of Israel to the people of Myanmar through Karuna Mission Social Solidarity (KMSS) which is a trusted humanitarian organization working tirelessly on the ground, ensuring rapid and effective distribution to those most in need.

This mission reflects the enduring deep compassion, friendship and shared humanity between our two nations. Israel is committed to standing by the people of Myanmar in times of need, supporting not only recovery and relief efforts but also hope to those impacted by this tragedy.
