Issuance of travel documents (passport) for citizens and residents of Israel

This service enables Israeli citizens and residents who are abroad to submit an application for a non-biometric Israeli travel document (passport)
Required Documents To Apply
Two recent photos (against a white background, with full front view of face, measuring 5x5 cm).
The travel document that is to be renewed.
A document proving Israeli citizenship – in case of an application for a first Israeli travel document.

If so, the following instructions are relevant to you:

1. A passport can be renewed starting six months before the expiration date.
2. A passport renewal application form is attached in the field below, please fill out the form and sign it.
Please fill in all the details and a current address in Germany. Pay attention to signing the form.
3. In addition, we will need the previous passport, please attach it in the envelope.
4. 2 passport photos, (in Germany a "biometric photo")
Photo requirements: The citizen's face on a light background that includes the tip of the crown and the beginning of the shoulders. No glasses. Both ears are visible in the photo. No shadow.
5. Please enclose a bank transfer receipt of 84 euros, 79 euros for a passport and 5 euros for registered mail.
To avoid unnecessary delays in processing, please transfer the exact amount and include the name of the citizen in the reason for the transfer.
Please send everything by registered mail. (EINSCHREIBEN)

After we receive the passport, we will issue you a new passport and send you back the old passport and the new passport by registered mail. The new passport will be a regular passport for 5 years.

Required presence at the Consulate
If the application is for a first travel document, the applicant must appear in person at the mission.
If the application is for the renewal of an expired document, the application together with the required documents can be sent by mail to the mission in the country where the applicant is staying.

The application with all the accompanying documents can be sent by mail, according to the instructions on the website of the mission.

When sending by mail, you must send the original documents and keep photocopies.
