The Department of Academic Affairs is the liaison between Israel and the educational communities of Florida, Kansas, Missouri and Puerto Rico.
The mission of the office is to promote partnership and cooperation between Israeli and U.S. academic institutions, their staff and students. In addition the department is responsible to providing and Israel related information, and arranging programs and activities, such as inviting speakers, displaying exhibits, dissemination of printed and electronic information, participation and putting together conferences and various seminars addressing issues in Israeli society and so on. Together with the Cultural Affairs Department; an emphasis is also placed on bringing Israeli culture to campus through music, art, theatre and other creative channels.
