The first Israeli Defence Attaché to Lithuania was accredited

February 18th, the first Israeli Defence Attaché to Lithuania, David Israely, was accredited at a ceremony at the Ministry of National Defence.

He began his service in the Israeli army in 1992 and served in various positions there until his retirement in 2021.

The new Defence Attaché previously served in Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Guatemala and El Salvador.

David Israely is currently based in the Czech Republic, representing the country in Slovakia, Latvia and Lithuania. Alfredas Pliadis (Ministry of National Defence)
