The spouse of the Israeli Ambassador Yahel Margovsky was honored to meet with the First Lady of Kenya Rachel Ruto at the State House in Nairobi. The two agreed on areas of cooperation through the "Mama Doing Good".

The Embassy and 'Mama Doing Good' wish to embark on planting of "Zion Forest," consisting of 5000 trees in one of the ASAL areas to mark 75 years of Israel Independence & 60 years of the cordial diplomatic relations between Israel - Kenya.

"Zion Forest" creation would be in line with the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign of Kenya and the target to plant 500 million trees by 2032 set by the First Lady of Kenya. Rachel Ruto welcomed the initiative of 'Zion Forest' creation as a grand idea, and expressed her consent to launch the project.
