Head of Israeli Economic Mission Mr. Barak Granot inaugurates the opening of the Cyberpro Academy, with the aim to enhance cyber security expertise in Kenya by leveraging Israeli knowledge to provide academic and professional training.
The Israel in Kenya Kenya was honored to preside over the opening of The Cyberpro Academy at Daystar University Athi River-Main Campus on 5th April 2024. The event was presided over by Mr. Barak Granot the Minister Counselor, Economic Affairs - Head of The Israel Economic and Trade Mission to Kenya who was representing Ambassador H.E Michael Lotem. The academy takes pride in using Israeli Cyber Security Expertise to provide academic and professional participants, regardless of their specialty background, with market-ready abilities. The joyous occasion was marked with the first-time hoisting of the Israeli Flag as a symbol of collaboration between Israel and Kenya in Cyber Security training and technology cross-industry partnership, tree planting, and unveiling of the Academy’s commemorative plaque.
