POLITICAL AFFAIRS

The Political Affairs Department serves as a liaison between the State of Israel and all local, state, and federal government offices in the five-state region, and acts as a vital resource for elected officials and their staff for information and communication. The Director of Political Affairs plays a pivotal role in this department, undertaking the critical task of analyzing legislation at both the State and Federal levels and cultivating the robust relationships with the region’s five Governors, 66 Members of Congress, and hundreds of Mayors and State Elected Officials. Through strategic engagement and diplomacy, the Political Affairs Department ensures that local, state, and federal leaders are well-informed about Israel's positions and perspectives, working to foster a deeper understanding and stronger ties between the State of Israel and the Southwest United States. This includes organizing high-level visits, facilitating policy discussions, and coordinating collaborative initiatives on issues of mutual interest.
