The service can be received by sending the documents by email or by registered mail to the Israeli mission in the country where the person lives.
The service is provided to persons making a request on their own behalf or on behalf of their spouse, siblings, parents and grandchildren, if any. Any other party interested in receiving the certificate must attach to their request a power of attorney or letter of explanation.
Please note:
The certificate can be requested in two languages (Hebrew and English) or in Hebrew only.
If the request is on behalf of a person born before 1955, the place of residence of the parents at the time of birth must be specified, in addition to the person's place of birth.
Print out the birth certificate request form, complete it by hand, scan it (including the accompanying documents) and send it by email to the Israeli mission in the country where you live.

Please note:
When ordering a birth certificate in two languages, the details of the person on whose behalf the request is made must be written in English as well.
Any visit to a mission must be arranged in advance through the online appointment scheduler.
The affidavit that is to be signed must be prepared in advance.

General Information
- Please indicate on the form whether you prefer the certificate in Hebrew or bilingual.
- Ordering the certificate does not incur any payment.
- Applicants can order a certificate for themselves and for their minor children. For information regarding eligibility to order certificates for another person, see the explanation on the Ministry of Interior's website. Click here.
- If an apostille is required on a requested certificate, a separate fee will incur. A credit card payment form can be found here.
- If you want the certificate to be delivered to you by mail after it is received at the consulate, fill out this form.
- The certificate is not issued at the consulate but sent to Israel for processing. The processing time may take up to about six weeks.

Security instructions for people who wish to obtain consular services:
1. Arrive on the 3rd floor where the lobby is situated and inform security personnel that you have an appointment.
2. You will undergo a security screening, please cooperate fully with security protocols, which include a thorough inspection of your person and belongings.
3. Show a Photo ID.
4. Restricted Items such as bags, handbags, suitcases, food, beverage bottles, and containers are strictly prohibited inside the Consulate.
5. Mobile Phones are allowed inside but must be kept accessible for inspection during security screening.
